Stances
during a battle are very comment, yet every character has his/her own
stance, wether it is to fight, defend or to heal, every stance is unique
to the character.
Entering
At
the moment the group is getting ready
for a battle, Squall got his gunblade over his shoulder. He then moves
the Gunblade from over his shoulder to the ground.
Physical
stances
Before
Squall does any magical or physical attack, there is the relaxed
stance. It means that the character currently is making him/herself
ready again for another round. At this moment Squall is pretty relaxed
and breaths fast, but steady. His Gunblade is situated in front of him,
and held with boths hands. Squall's legs are also wide spread.
When
you give Squall a command, he will
change his position. He'll move his one step back with his right back.
His Gunblade will not be situated next to his right shoulder in a
straith position.
Squall
will runs towards the opponent and
will hold his Gunblade to the back over his right shoulder. At the
moment he comes closer to the enemy he will diagonally slash the
Gunblade into it.
Squall
occassionally can unleash a special
attack after his Renzokuken Limit Break. Squall will bow a little
through his knees and rises his Gunblade over his shoulder. He will
unleash massive power by doing so and will perform one of his special
tricks.
Magical
stances
Casting
magic is one of the most needed things in the game. When Squall is
casting, he will move his left hand in front of his left eyes. His
Gunblade also resides next to him. After concentrating (that takes upon
two seconds), Squall will move his
hand in front of him as of he is pushing of the magic from him.
The
tecnique with summoning is the same
as if he would cast magic, only here four green balls will surround him
and lifting up to the skies above. Squall then will slowly dissappear to
let the Guardian Force to his/her work.
You
cannot cast magic without having magic stocked in your inventory, that's
why you need to let that specific character use the DRAW
command in order to draw the magic you seem fit. When you choose Squall
to draw magic, he will place his Gunblade horizontal in front of him
(one holding the trigger, and the other placed against the blade) He
then will draw magic from the enemy by the purplish, blue energy
circles.
Defend
stances
There
are some occassions (when the character has a higher speed, spirit
status), he/she might be able to dodge the attack (easy to see when the
word "miss" appears). He does not have any specific pose for
this, yet he does stand in his attack stance when dodging a attack.
There
are always two way's of being hitted,
either small or big. In other words when Squall has been hit by a normal
attack, Squall wil bow deep through his knees. Pretty sad, I have not
seen him being hit on the harder matter, therefore I cannot explain.
Squall
will lean onto his knees when he has lost
a lot of strenght. Not to show of weak and active, he will kneel down on
the way he always kneels, but he will hold his Gunblade in front of him
on the ground. He also breaths hard and quickly.
Character
do not die in a battle, therefore it is called being "knocked
out". Yes, the meter is viewed in the reddish color, I can't quite
explain, it's just how it is actually. Well, if Squall loses
all his strenght, he will fall backwards on the ground. He will hold his
Gunblade fierce aside from him and will lay his left hand on his chest.
When
using the ITEM command, Squall will
go one step to the front, or aside to his partners and let's his
Gunblade lean on his shoulder. With his free hand he goes in his pocket
(cannot be seen in full motion) and takes out a item. He will trew it
away as simple as that!
