Timber is one of the few towns in the world that has a dramatic past. 17 years ago Timber, who was known as a forest town, got invaded by the Galbadian army under the command of Vinzer Deling, due to the grow of resistance factions, two men were killed on spot. Since then more resistance factions began to number and Timber became to be independant more, but was still under law of Galbadia.

The resistance factions began to outnumber it and missions were only done when it could be done without loses. 2 years ago at the age of 15, Rinoa entered Timber and started to learn more about Galbadia and the resistance factions in Timber.

Throughouth the weeks, Rinoa began to oppress Galbadia and started to help a resistance faction group Forest Owls with their missions by sending information regarding the army and their tasks.

Even now Timber is fighting for it's independance, not is known when and how this town will be free again, but I believe that after the defeat of Ultimecia and the death of Vinzer Deling, it won't take long for Timber to be free again.
