Squall Leonhart

Rinoa went to Balamb Garden to meet up with headmaster Cid. She came for business, but as her heart will go, she wanted to have fun, so she stood on the dancefloor. A moment later she saw a guy looking at her and asks him to dance with her.

Funny sequences come to mind and Rinoa drags him onto the dancefloor. Rinoa migh have thought that he was a nice, loving guy, serious, but friendly. This though broke down the next morning when she met up with Squall again. He was quite different then she though, but to her expressions she was glad that it was someone she had met before.

The personality between Squall and Rinoa are quite apart and that may have caused those dissagreements with each other, Rinoa felt hurted by Squall asking herselfs why he was so mean, if she knew that he could be nice. Not is stated on where she descovered the true meanings of Squall and decides to help him, but I believe that Zell told her everything about Squall when he was in dreamland.

Rinoa: "Zell...How come that Squall acts so cold?

Zell: "I don't really know, he's been that all his life, I guess about something that has happend in his past, he won't allow people to become friends.

Rinoa: "So, that might be the problem then, his past?

Zell: "What are you gonna do, investigate?

Rinoa: "Yeah, that's right! I'm gonna try and force it out of him and he has to know that he has to depend on others.

This is made up by my own thoughts, but they can clearly mean that Rinoa promised herself to let Squall express his feelings. Rinoa didn't knew much about her future at this point, not to know that she starts to understand why Squall acts like that and eventually becomes intertwined with his feelings and fascinated, which leads her into falling in love with him before she even knew.
