Final Fantasy VIII first came out on the official Japanese translation, but quickly after it's popularity the story was translated in more then 3 different languages, which one was the much used English translation. Final Fantasy VIII can be viewed in two different English translation; Amerika and European as which where my source leaded me. Belgium got two translations, Vlamish and Frence, Dutch/Vlamish is used at the upper side of Belgium.
