Rinoa's
first Limit Break, consist of Angelo dashing towards an enemy and helps
her mistress by dealing massive blows. In order for Angelo to learn a
trick, you must read the PPV's. You can find them in shops around the
world, mostly in Timber and Esthar. Buying the magazines won't really work
for Angelo to learn, you must actually access those pages in order to can
learn them through to her.
Angelo's attack are
randomly chosen by Rinoa herself, you can't wish for Angelo Cannon,
because there is change she might use Wishing Star or Angelo Rush for that
matter. Not all of Angelo's attack evolves as a Limit Break attack. If you
are fighting against a boss, which quite takes up some time, Angelo can
dash upon the field either attacking the monster or searching for items.
Those attacks are mostly consisted with how high your luck is.
You must activate
the trick you want to learn by choosing the "Status" command and
choose which trick you want to teach her know. Teaching Angelo the trick
doesn't need any care nor attention, you must walk, fight or just continue
with the game until you hear a sound. No, it's not the sound of your
cellphone nor the télé, it's the sound that tells you that Angelo has
finished learning.
One specific time in
the game, you are not able to use Angelo. At the moment on the Ragnarok
between Squall and Rinoa, you can tell that the command of Angelo has
dissapeared, yet a new one has be replaced. You are now able to use her
newest, yet not strongest Limit Break Angel Wing. Reasons for this, are
simple. The moment that Rinoa is going to space, you see a shot of Angelo
at Lunar Gate barking to the Lunatic Pandora, showing you that she isn't
with her mistress.
Here under is the
list of the special attacks that Angelo can use in battles.
Angelo
Rush
Enemies: one
Magazine: n/a
When Rinoa is
attacked by a monster, Angelo dashes onto the battle-field into the
direction of the monster that hurted her mistress and running right
through it. The damage may not be that damaging, yet it is quite useful.
Angelo just then dissepears from the field.
Angelo
Recover
Enemies: none
Magazine: Pet Pals Vol. 2
The moment Rinoa
sits on the ground and her meter has turned yellow, Angelo sometimes comes
to her and give her some of her own strenght. It's means that Angelo has
quite the high HP like her mistress and share some with her to win the
battle. Angelo then runs out of the screen again, leaving Rinoa alone
massive amount of new HP. It can quite exceed the 2000.
Angelo
Reverse
Enemies: none
Magazine: Pet Pals Vol. 4
Angelo runs over to
a character that is KO/ed, mostly only Rinoa. She takes a found phoenix
down and trows is to the character. Angelo then runs back. This items
works like any other phoenix down, also this item won't be taken from your
inventory.
Angelo
Search
Enemies: none
Magazine: Pet Pals Vol. 5
This action can
happen each battle, yet it is very rare. Angelo Search mostly happens if
you are fighting one monster or boss for a tremendous amount of time. She
comes dashing onto the field, stopping front of Rinoa, while sniffeling
the ground beneath her. Angelo only stops until she has found a item. She
takes it up in her mouth and gives it to her mistress. Rinoa will pet her
dog for this fine job. Items found by Angelo can consist potions, phoenix
downs, elixirs as to rare items like Occult Fans.
Angelo
Cannon
Enemies: all
Magazine: none
This may be one of
the few most chosen attacks. Rinoa fluits to Angelo, while she will run
over to her mistress and jump onto her Blaster. The Edge is of course
being removed. Rinoa will launch Angelo in the air, while she will fall on
all the opponents that stood beneath her, this causing a big explosion.
After the fight, Angelo will land next to Rinoa, receiving a pet/biscuit
under the skin, then running away.
Angelo
Strike
Enemies: one
Magazine: Pet Pals Vol. 1
Also one of the most
chosen attacks withing Angelo's Combine. This time Rinao waves with her
right hand into the direction of a opponent, signing for Angelo as
"Attack". Angelo will leap over Rinoa close in front of a
opponent. She will bite that opponent and tossing it into the air. She
will have the opponent circle mutiple times in the air, until she lands
back on the ground. Differnt is that Angelo seems to land on top of the
opponent, so with the last pirouette she has smashed the opponent in the
ground, while fierce she will run over to her mistress and receive another
pet/biscuit under the skin.
Invincible
Moon
Enemies: none
Magazine: Pet Pals Vol. 3
Rinoa trows a doggy
biscuit in the air and Angelo jumps to it to grab it in her mouth. She
lands in between Rinoa and the opponents. She gathers some energy and
jumps into the air. Everything behind turns black and a full moon shine
bright. The moonlight surrounds Rinoa and her partners, while they become
invincible. Angelo jumps in front of her mistress, who she will take up
the biscuit and place it on her nose. To show her appreciations, Angelo
will trow the biscuit in the air and capture it back in her mout, while
running away after it.
Wishing
Star
Enemies: all
Magazine: Pet Pals Vol. 6
Wishing
star is the rarest attack Angelo will perform, only with a bit of luck you
might see it. Rinoa starts running to the opponent with Angelo next to
her. Some seconds later she jumps onto Angelo and they both will smash
into a opponent. This is a multiple attack consisting the damaging look
and blow as Lionheart.
