Squall and Rinoa their relationship is very special, both have different personalities, aspects and opinions, yet they do find a way to each other through all these differencies.

The meeting between Squall and Rinoa did go surprisingly good, since Squall could not act normal when she was near him, because I suppose he has never been so close with a strange girl, maybe not that flirty as Rinoa is to catch her move upon him to dance with her.

Rinoa did leave him alone perplex, he did not understand her or what just happend. Squall that does not care, does question himself of whoever she is, but he remains himself later on the night, but before he went to sleep, you could see that he was thinking about that event.

How destinies turn out, Squall and Rinoa managed to meet again the next day. Rinoa was very happy with this meeting, that the person, SeeD in this case, would be someone she has met before. The meeting between Squall and Rinoa turned out nicely, both their personality did not clash, but through the mission both their differences started to become noticeable.

Squall being the leader and being a SeeD thinks differently then how Rinoa has learned it, they both see the mission differently, Squall being irritated by the groups teamwork or decisions and Rinoa by the not so understood SeeD, that only cares about completing missions and not the indept situation.

When the mission has finished, Rinoa is not save anymore in Timber and does not have a place to stay, so she decides to go with Squall and his partners. During the course of the adventure both Squall and Rinoa argumented much more then before, because both of their personalities are so different, they do not understand each other.

At one point, not far behind the mission, Rinoa changes towards Squall, and I first did not understand it. It might be that after the fight Rinoa got to think about whatever has been said, but to me I think Zell got something to do with it.

After the dream sequence, Rinoa changed to Squall's stratege, she did not flirt to much with him anymore, not in a annoying stage, Squall got to respect it from her, still he did stay far away from her, even though Rinoa got to move closer in.

During more situations, conversations and even disagreements, Squall and Rinoa got to move closer to one another, but it was all still new and uncertain for Squall. Rinoa wanted nothing more then to make Squall change his mind from his currently opinion about friendship and relying.

Durings these times, Rinoa began to grow close to him and began to develop feelings first for him. I believe how Rinoa began to act in front of him, he got the idea that she liked him, but he still kept his distance, even though he was confused wether he wanted to or not.

Taking on Squall's ring, is one of the situations Rinoa got to think how she felt about Squall, by holding on his ring she feels the truth of her heart and what she wants.

As the game progresses Squall and Rinoa came closer, but only Squall got to feel the love when Rinoa fell into a coma, the feeling of loosing someone did hurt Squall in the past, but this feeling of hoping that there is a change of rescueing Rinoa and the feeling that she is not with him anymore.

It did confuse him for the start and many people did not understand, except for the others in the team. In the end Squall did decided on where to go and what to do, he decides on doing everything even his life in order to save him.

Some people do not think that Squall and Rinoa belong to each other, but I think there are many reasons as to way, and some that I even agree with.

Love's Continue

At the end of disc two Rinoa falls into a coma for us and the characters unknown situation. The story from the second to the third disc is only one day between both, fans did not understand or could accept the change in Squall, neither could I.

When we see Squall next to Rinoa, he acts emotionally and well different then the day before. I can understand that Squall starts to feel what he had with her then without her.

The story between their relationship comes to a good point again in space, when they are both together again, it might seem that the creators did not know how to conversate Squall during her time when she is in coma, I do understand it, but many fans do not see it clearly during this moment if they are bonded or not.

The differences

open and closed, that's what Squall and Rinoa are seperated, but through these differences that seperate them both in all kinds of aspects, they actually do belong together.

They personalities is on many times related to many different thins that combine two things together, such as books or keys. A key and a door become one together when locking each other together. The books relating to Squall and Rinoa is more difficult and confusive, but easier to see the difference.

Squall is a lonely person, scared of combining himself with other and to rely on. Rinoa is a sweet person that get's her strenght and will out of friendship and relatives, so she is seen as a open book.

In the beginning stage from the game and their relationship, the books are further apart from each other, a totally closed and a totally open book. As the game progresses both Squall and Rinoa change to on another, Squall still stayed on the background, Rinoa came on close to him with each conversation and time they are together.

As you might have quessed where I am going with these books, at the ending of the game, their personalites becomes together and fit in like the key and the door, the books here become half open and half closed, either way whenever they are seperated, their personality changes again.

The future might be uncertain, it is surely known that Squall and Rinoa are meant to be.

Appearances

Soms fans goes of to appearances if some people belong together, Squall belongs with Quistis because of their student/teacher relationship and hair colors, Seifer and Rinoa belong to each other because of their clothes design and personalities.

I think fans do not understand the situation that should be. They all look good together, yet because they are similar they cannot stay together for a very long time, that's different with Squall and Rinoa.

At first because of both their parents past experience, which you can state in related, and as second that they did go through so much that in the end it would seem sick if they would departure from each other.
