tech demo

A while ago, Square-Enix produced something, which us fans either gave new hope, yet also some sort of sadness.

Before Playstation2 came on the market or just soon after, Square-Enix wanted to try the new graphic techniques on the somewhat older games of Playstation.

Games like seven, the intro, and eight the dance were systematically improved by how it would look in a high quality ranged version of Playstation2. The tech demo of seven came later on the net then eight, so leaving bad quality ranged movies clips on the net, which seven got a new inclusive high quality ranged movie featured.

After seeing some pictures, many people hoped on a remake of eight, I myself was hoping too. Later came the official statement that there would not be made a remake of eight, making many people sad and confused about it.

The movie, which features the dance between Squall and Rinoa has been improved with new movements and sound effects. The graphic on the other hand is high quality and known for the Playstation2, but doesn't affect the look on the characters that haven't changed that much. They are more statistics and move faster, even so the graphic are quiet good on the background.

The high quality movie cannot be found on the net, but samples of the movie can be found, but are really bad quality ranged. I did found a movie, which features all the clips in one movie. Most of them featured with voices, one with the Eyes on me song and another clip that goes pretty fast featured and weird.

Even if there won't be a remake of eight, it is fun and nice to watch Squall and Rinoa again. The movie on the url is the total version in different aspects and the movements are unique and different from the game.
