Side Quests - Card Club

Note
Because there are already a lot of in-depth FAQs out there for achieving this quest, I'm doing this mainly in list format so that you can easily see which card you need next and where to get it. I don't offer strategies for winning any card; I'll only mention if a certain card requires other events to win it. Also remember that with rare cards, it's likely that your opponent may wait many...many... hands before actually using the card you want.

Objective
Win rare cards from CC members.

Location
Disc 1 - Balamb Garden, basically any time you wish. I like to start this game after Balamb Garden is moveable because I can finish it in one sitting rather than spacing the quest out. (:

Needed Items
None

Battles
None

Rewards
→ Leviathan's Card [card]
→ Carbuncle's Card [card]
→ Gilgamesh's Card [card]

Steps

♠ CC's Jack comes first. First, win (roughly?) fifteen games of cards around Balamb Garden with anybody who is willing to play against you. Jack hangs out by the directory; I usually catch him walking up the pathway behind the two girls (who are actually also CC members!). He's dressed in uniform. Before you've won fifteen games, he'll ask you if he's talked about CC yet. When you've won enough games, he'll challenge you himself when you talk to him. He has no 'unique' cards but you need to beat him before you can challenge the next member.

♣ CC's Club is next. He's in the left walkway of Balamb Garden, usually around the dorm or cafeteria. He doesn't have any unique cards. The Joker can be challenged first if preferred.

♥ Let's challenge CC's Joker now. To challenge him, you need to have already played the D-District Prison portion of the game. Otherwise, you can also challenge the Club and the Diamonds at this point. Joker is hiding in the Training Center. He's standing on the wooden bridge near the 'secret' place. When you win, he'll also upgrade your Battle Meter yet again to give you GF Information. He has a rare card, Leviathan. (Sometimes he's not there the first time you enter; just keep going on and off the screen and soon he'll be there.)

♦ CC's Diamond is actually CC's Diamonds. They're the two girls who walk up the main pathway and hang out by the directory. Challenge either one of them to progress with the CC quest. They don't have any unique cards.

♠ CC's Spade is up next. Actually, he's the same person who gave you your starter deck. He's still hanging out in the same place, on the 2F near the lift. He has no unique cards.

♥ It's time for CC's Heart. Here's a familiar face. (: Heart is actually Xu. By this point in the game she'll be standing up in the bridge with Nida and Quistis. She has a rare card, Carbuncle.

♣ Now to challenge CC's King! First, go to the infirmary and challenge Dr. Kadowaki. After finishing, go to your dorm and continue resting over and over until the King appears and challenges you. Beware, she is much more difficult than the previous CC members! She has the rare card Gilgamesh. After you've played her the first time, you can challenge her on the bridge from now on. Oh yeah, try not to be too surprised *eye roll*.

Concluding Notes
If you complete this quest, the big reward is that all of the CC members will be on Ragnarok by disc 4 and you can play them to win back rare cards that you've modded, missed, or lost, with very limited exceptions (Pupu's card for instance). Also, I'd suggest doing this with the Queen of Cards side quest for even more cards. ^_^
